"Everywhere" with 到处

到处 is an adverb of place meaning "everywhere" or "all over." It usually appears before a verb to indicate that an action happens in many places.

Structure

到处 + Verb (+ Object)

Used to say an action occurs everywhere.

Subject + 到处 + Verb + Object

Placed after the subject to describe where the action takes place.

节日里，街上到处都能看见彩旗。
Jié rì lǐ, jiē shàng dào chù dōu néng kàn jiàn cǎi qí.
During the festival, you can see flags everywhere on the streets.
他到处找钥匙，可是没找到。
Tā dào chù zhǎo yào shi, kě shì méi zhǎo dào.
