Definition
马不停蹄 is a four-character idiom (成语) that literally means 'a horse never stops its hooves'. It describes doing something nonstop, without rest or pause — often used for work, travel, or a series of tasks done in quick succession. Unlike the English 'nonstop', it carries a sense of relentless forward motion and effort.
