Definition
饶 (ráo) has two main uses: 1) 'to let off, forgive' — more colloquial and direct than 减速 (fàng guò), and less formal than 饶恕 (ráo shù) which implies pardoning a serious offense; 2) 'to throw in as a bonus' in buying or selling. Do not confuse with the conjunctions 虽然 or 尽管, which mean 'although'.
