Definition
飞檐走壁 is a four-character idiom often used in martial arts novels and movies. Literally it means 'flying across eaves and walking on walls', describing the incredible agility and lightness of a skilled martial artist who can leap onto roofs and move swiftly along walls as if walking on flat ground. Today it is also used metaphorically to describe someone who is extremely nimble or capable in difficult situations.
