Definition
预感 (yù gǎn) is a premonition or foreboding — an intuitive feeling about something that will happen, often negative. Unlike 直觉 (zhí jué) 'intuition', which is a general gut feeling about present or past, 预感 is specifically about the future. And unlike 预见 (yù jiàn) 'to foresee', which implies reasoned prediction or foresight, 预感 is a more emotional, instinctive foreknowledge.
