Definition
面熟 describes the feeling that someone looks familiar — you've seen them before but can't remember where or how you know them. It's used with people, not objects, and often appears in the pattern '看着∼' (looks familiar) or '觉得∼' (feels familiar). The negative form '不∼' is also common.
