难处 (nán chù) is a noun meaning 'difficulty, trouble, problem' — it refers to a specific troublesome situation or personal problem. It is more concrete and everyday than 困难 (kùn nan, broader 'hardship'), and more about a difficult circumstance than the inconvenience of 麻烦 (má fan).
