阵营 (zhènyíng) refers to a 'camp' or 'faction' — a group united by shared ideology, interests, or goals, often in politics or competition. It is broader than 派别 (pàibié, a subgroup within an organization) and less formal than 党 (dǎng, a political party). Unlike 派 (pài), which can also mean 'to send', 阵营 is strictly a noun for a collective side.
