阳关 (Yáng guān) is a historical mountain pass in modern Gansu Province, a key gateway on the ancient Silk Road near Dunhuang. It is also the name of a famous Tang dynasty farewell poem and song, often referred to as 阳关三叠 (Three Refrains of Sunny Pass), which conveys the melancholy of parting.
