Definition
问道有两个主要意思：一是字面义‘问路’（ask the way），二是引申义‘请教、询问（问题）’（seek advice, ask about a topic）。这是一个离合词（v.o.），动词部分‘问’和宾语部分‘道’可以分开使用，例如‘问一下道’、‘问过道’等。在口语中，字面义更常见；在书面语或正式场合，引申义也经常出现。
