Definition
销路 refers to the marketability of a product — how well it sells and through which channels. It combines 销 (to sell) and 路 (road/path), literally 'sales path'. You use it when talking about whether a product has demand, where it can be sold, and how easy it is to distribute. English translations like 'sales', 'market', or 'outlet' each capture only part of the concept; 销路 covers both the existence of a market and the channels through which sales happen.
