Definition
铸就 literally means 'to cast into metal', but in modern Chinese it is almost always used figuratively to mean 'to forge, to create, or to shape through sustained effort' — especially for abstract nouns like achievements, character, relationships, or history. It appears in formal or literary contexts, such as 铸就辉煌 ('forge brilliance') and 铸就未来 ('shape the future'). It carries a stronger, more dignified tone than 创造 or 形成.
