钸 (bū) is an extremely rare character meaning 'metal plate', but it is virtually unused in modern standard Chinese. The common term for a metal plate today is 金属板 (jīnshǔ bǎn). You may encounter 钸 in archaic texts or technical glossaries, but it is not a word that active learners need to memorize. Note that this character is distinct from 钸 (bù, plutonium) with a different tone.
