Definition
酣畅 describes an experience that is unrestrained and deeply satisfying, especially after drinking, sleeping, or playing. It is more specific than 痛快 (delighted, to one's heart's content) and more positive than 放纵 (indulgent, undisciplined). Unlike the adverb 尽情 (as much as one likes), 酣畅 is an adjective that can modify nouns or serve as a complement.
