Definition
配置 (pèi zhì) means 'to configure/allocate' and covers two main uses: setting up systems/devices (especially in IT) and allocating resources/personnel. It is more technical and hands-on than 部署 (bù shǔ), which implies a larger-scale strategic deployment of resources or personnel, often in organizational or military contexts.
