逸闻 is a variant form of 轶闻 (yì wén), meaning 'anecdote' or 'unrecorded story' — a short, amusing or interesting account of a real incident, often one not widely known. Both 逸闻 and 轶闻 are interchangeable, but 逸闻 is slightly less common. Use it like a regular noun.
