Definition
送葬 means 'to take part in a funeral procession' or 'to escort the deceased to the burial'. It is a separable verb (离合词): the object 葬 can separate from 送 when a measure word, duration, or complement is inserted, e.g. 送过一次葬 ('attended a funeral once') or 送了三天葬 ('escorted the funeral for three days'). The deceased can be introduced with 为, and the mourner is always the subject.
