Definition
迹象 (jì xiàng) is an abstract sign or indication based on observed evidence (e.g., signs of recovery). It differs from 标志 (biāo zhì), which is a concrete symbol or logo, and from 指标 (zhǐ biāo), which is a quantitative target or index. Use 迹象 for clues that something is happening or about to happen.
