Definition
进场 is a separable verb (离合词) formed by 进 'enter' and 场 'place/field'. It has two main uses: (1) entering a venue such as a stadium, concert hall, or construction site; and (2) (of airplanes) approaching the runway for landing. When you need to insert a measure word, aspect marker, or duration, split it as 进…场 (e.g., 进了场 'entered the venue', 进过三次场 'have entered the venue three times').
