Definition
进口 means 'to import' – bringing goods into a country from abroad. It differs from 输入 (shū rù), which more often refers to inputting data or bringing in goods in a broader sense, and from 入境 (rù jìng), which is for people entering a country. As an attributive adjective ('进口的'), it means 'imported'.
