Definition
过道 (guò dào) refers to an indoor passageway, such as a corridor in a building or an aisle on a plane or train. It is narrower and more functional than 走廊 (zǒu láng), which often implies a covered walkway open on one side, and more specific than 通道 (tōng dào), which can also be outdoor or metaphorical. 楼道 (lóu dào) is the corridor in a multi-story building, often near stairs.
