Definition
辐 is a bound form (b.f.) — it cannot stand alone as a word and always appears in compounds. Its two main senses are 'spoke (of a wheel)' in 辐条 (fútiáo, spoke) and 'to radiate; radiation' in 辐射 (fúshè, radiation) and 辐照 (fúzhào, irradiation). When you see 辐 in a text, it's almost certainly part of a longer word.
