Definition
转战 literally means 'to shift the battlefield' — originally military, describing an army that fights in one place and then moves to fight in another. In modern usage it's extended metaphorically to any domain where someone moves from one arena to another, like business, sports, or career fields. It's a transitive verb that takes a location or domain as its object (转战某地).
