身影 (shēn yǐng) refers to a person's silhouette or figure as seen from a distance, often in motion or against a background. It differs from 影子 (yǐng zi 'shadow'), which is a dark shape cast by light, and from 背影 (bèi yǐng), which specifically shows the person's back. 轮廓 (lún kuò) is the general outline of any object, not just a person.
