蹶 is a bound character that only appears in a few compounds. Its most common use is in 尥蹶子 (liào jué zi), meaning 'to kick backward' (usually of horses or mules, and figuratively of people being stubborn or uncooperative). It also appears in 一蹶不振 (yì jué bú zhèn), meaning 'to completely collapse or be unable to recover'. You won't encounter 蹶 as a standalone word.
