Definition
越来越 is a fixed adverbial structure meaning "more and more". You use it to describe a situation that is gradually increasing in degree over time. The pattern is always Subject + 越来越 + Adjective (or a verb phrase expressing a change). It is one of the most common patterns in Chinese, and most adjectives and psychological verbs can follow it.
