Definition
走 (zǒu) means 'to walk' (moving on foot) and also 'to go away / leave'. Unlike 去 (qù), which is a general 'go to a place' without specifying how, 走 often implies using one's legs or simply departing. Compare also 走路 (zǒu lù), which specifically means 'to walk' as a mode of travel (opposite of riding).
