走运 is a colloquial separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to have good luck'. You can split 运 off with adjectives or complements—e.g. 走大运 ('have great luck') or 走了一次运 ('had a stroke of luck'). Do not drop an object after 走运; instead, use the separated form with 了 or modifiers.
