Definition
资金 (zījīn) refers to 'funds' or 'capital' as a general financial resource for a company, project, or organization. It is broader than 现金 (xiànjīn 'cash on hand') and less technical than 资本 (zīběn 'capital in economics'). Unlike 经费 (jīngfèi 'budgeted expenses'), 资金 is not tied to a specific budget line.
