Definition
贪恋 means to be unwilling to let go of something because you enjoy it too much — often used for pleasures, comforts, or bad habits that you know you should give up. It carries a slightly negative or self-indulgent tone. You can 贪恋 物质享受 (material comforts), 贪恋 酒色 (wine and women), or 贪恋 温暖被窝 (a warm bed). It is more literary and formal than 喜欢.
