Definition
谎 is a bound morpheme (b.f.) — it cannot stand alone as a word. It always appears inside compounds such as 谎言 (lie), 撒谎 (to tell a lie), 说谎 (to tell a lie), or 谎话 (false words). When you learn 谎, remember to use it as part of a multi-syllable word, never in isolation.
