Definition
调出 (diào chū) is a resultative verb compound meaning to bring something out of storage or a system — common in computing (call up a file or interface), HR (transfer someone out of a position), and archives (retrieve a document). Because 出 acts as the result complement, you can insert 得/不 between the two characters to express possibility: 调得出 (can retrieve) or 调不出 (can't retrieve). It is transitive and requires an object.
