诸如 is a formal equivalent of 'such as', used in writing to introduce a list of examples. It often appears in the pattern 诸如 + examples + 等 (etc.) or 之类. Unlike the more spoken 例如, 诸如 sounds more literary and is common in formal essays, reports, and official documents.
