Definition
诱 is a bound form (b.f.) meaning 'to lure, entice, induce, or guide' — it cannot stand alone as a word but appears as the first element in two-character compounds. The connotation depends on the compound: 诱惑 (to tempt/seduce, often negative), 诱导 (to induce/guide, neutral or positive), 诱饵 (bait). You will not use 诱 by itself as a verb; you must attach it to another character to form a complete word.
