Definition
融洽 describes a relationship or atmosphere that is harmonious and getting along well, with a focus on smooth, conflict-free interaction. It is more specific to interpersonal or group dynamics than 和谐 (héxié), which can apply broadly to society, music, or colors; and unlike 友好 (yǒuhǎo 'friendly'), 融洽 emphasizes mutual compatibility and ease rather than just a polite attitude.
