Definition
蜷 (quán) is a verb describing the action or state of curling up, tucking limbs together, or huddling — usually of a living body (person or animal) in response to cold, fear, or sleep. It often appears with direction or result complements: 蜷成一团 'curl into a ball', 蜷在沙发上 'curl up on the sofa'. It does not mean 'wriggle' in modern use (that sense belongs to 蠕); the dictionary gloss 'wriggle' is less accurate.
v.
to curl upto huddle (of body or limbs)
