Definition
获救 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to be rescued / saved'. The two parts may be split by aspect markers like 过 or 了, or by frequency phrases (e.g. 获过两次救, 获了救). You do not place an object after 获救 — the rescue source is expressed in a prepositional phrase (从…中获救) or omitted. The subject is always the person or thing that gets saved.
