Definition
至于 (zhì yú) has two distinct uses: as a preposition, it means 'as for / regarding' and introduces a new topic (similar to 关于 but more about shifting to a new subject). As a verb, it means 'to go so far as to' and is usually negated (不至于 'not to the point of'). Unlike 对 (towards) or 对于 (with regard to), 至于 emphasizes a topic shift or extreme degree.
