Definition
脱光 is a resultative verb composed of the verb 脱 'to take off' and the resultative complement 光 'completely, bare'. It means 'to strip completely' or 'to take off all one's clothes'. The pattern is verb + complement, and it is commonly followed by the aspectual particle 了 (tuō guāng le). You can also insert 得 or 不 between the two syllables to express possibility: 脱得光 (can be stripped completely) or 脱不光 (cannot be stripped completely). Though most often used for removing clothes, it can occasionally refer to losing all hair (头发脱光了) or other things being fully removed.
