编排 (biān pái) focuses on the creative or editorial arrangement of a program, event, or page layout (e.g., sequencing acts in a show or designing a magazine page). It differs from 安排 (ān pái, HSK 4), which is a general word for organizing tasks/people/schedules, and from 摆放 (bǎi fàng, HSK 6), which is about physically placing objects. 布局 (bù jú, HSK 7) emphasizes overall spatial/strategic layout, while 编排 deals more with ordering and composition.
