Definition
统统 (tǒng tǒng) is an adverb meaning 'all, without exception', used in spoken and written Chinese to emphasize that every single item or person is included. It is stronger and more emphatic than 全都 (quán dōu), and more colloquial than the literary 均 (jūn) or 一律 (yī lǜ). Unlike 完全 (wán quán), which focuses on completeness of an action or state, 统统 stresses total inclusion of a group.
