Definition
绝口 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to stop talking about something' or 'to never mention again'. It is often used in the fixed pattern 绝口不提 (never mention at all). As a verb-object construction, you can split it by inserting aspect markers or measure words between 绝 and 口, e.g. 绝过一次口 (once stopped talking about it).
