Definition
结 (jiē) means 'to produce (fruit or seeds)' and is used specifically for plants. It is the only HSK word for this sense; do not confuse it with the homograph 结 (jié, 'to tie, to form, to settle'), which is a different word with a different pronunciation and meaning.
