Definition
纂 (zuǎn) is a bound form (b.f.) used in literary compounds with two main meanings: (1) to compile or edit texts, as in 编纂 and 纂修; (2) a bun or knot of hair, as in 发纂 or 盘纂. It cannot be used alone as a standalone word.
