Definition
精装 literally means 'fine binding' and most commonly describes hardcover or clothbound books (as opposed to 平装 'paperback'). It can also refer to deluxe editions or premium packaging of other items, like a 精装版 of a product or 精装礼品. As an attributive adjective, it directly modifies a noun without 的 in many compound structures.
