Definition
童车 literally means 'child vehicle' and in modern Chinese most commonly refers to a baby stroller or pram (a wheeled seat for pushing a baby). It can also refer to children's tricycles or small bicycles, but the stroller sense is the most frequent. The English gloss 'bassinet' (a stationary baby bed) is misleading — 童车 always has wheels and is used for transport.
