Definition
稀罕 (xī han) has two uses: as an adjective it means 'rare, uncommon', similar to 稀有 (xī yǒu) but slightly more colloquial; as a verb it means 'to value, to cherish', but is most often used in the negative 不稀罕 to mean 'not care about, not want' — unlike 珍惜 (zhēn xī), which is always positive.
