Definition
矗立 (chù lì) describes something tall and massive that towers upward, like a skyscraper or monument. It is more literary and grand than 耸立 (sǒng lì), which also means 'to tower' but can be used for natural features like mountains. 屹立 (yì lì) adds a sense of firmness and endurance, often used for people or structures that stand unyielding.
