眶 is a bound morpheme (b.f.) meaning 'eye socket' or 'orbit'. It never appears alone — you must combine it with another character, most commonly 眼 in 眼眶 ('eye socket'), or use it in the chengyu 热泪盈眶 ('tears filling the eyes'). Learners should avoid using 眶 by itself.
