Definition
真切 is a stative verb (v.p.) that covers two distinct but related senses: (1) of perceptions, descriptions, or memories — vivid, clear, and distinct, as if right before the eyes; (2) of emotions, words, or attitudes — sincere, genuine, and heartfelt. The word contrasts with 清楚 (clear in a factual sense) and 真诚 (sincere in a dispositional sense), because 真切 blends the idea of clarity with emotional truth. You can use it predicatively (他的描写很真切) or attributively (真切的感受).
